4. Endangered Languages in the Media The Bristol Seminar on the Conservation of Endangered languages was trailed in a full page article in the Times Higher (21 April). It also stimulated both the following broadcasts. BBC World Service Radio: “Outlook” 17 April John Tidmarsh interviewed Michael Krauss by telephone from Alaska and me in the World Service Studio at Bush house, after an introductory sequence in Shilluk.
